Like I said.  I only TRAIN females.  Some men don't need training and are only good for breeding.

My favorite is anorith, cause I think their cute, And Metagross, for sheer power (my Level 100 metagross is more powerful than my level 100 dialga in everything but special attack.)

Indees she does, and since I've traded off her, the bulk of my team are female aswell.

As for my favourite, Buizel/Floatzel or in the earlier games Vaporeon!

My absolute favorite? Gengar, by far. I went through the phases of liking pikachu, charmander, and mewtwo. Then stuck with Gengar as my favorite. Houndoom and Sneasel are cool as well. As far as legendaries go, Darkrai is my favorite of 'em by far.

Am I the only one here who thinks Pokemon is rather childish?

I don't like pokemon inperticular, but I still have my origional pokemon card game deck from when I was like twelve or something. Yay fire! I think it's definately childish, but it still has a wierd charm over me. I guess I just find some of the pokemon cute and/or fascinating to look at.

I also really miss pokemon: red on the game boy =(

I'm sure a lot of adults think pokemon is childish, although my grandmother and aunt play all the games. I think it's just something that can be enjoyed by all ages.

OH, since we're talking about pokemon I've been wondering this for years... WHAT IS THIS GUY WEARING? And is what is in the space between the white thing and his pants what I think it is..?

My signature needs a change. It's been four years.

Childish?

Yeah, I think it is.

But you know, whatever.  I don't have kids, and I'm married, and I'm accepted for liking childish things.  I have good friends too who like the same things we like, so I don't care what others think. :3

I'm not trying to impress anyone with my likes/dislikes.

Not really possible to have a childish videogame, after all it is just another strategy game like Final Fantasy...

cept e10+ rated games, but the show has had a diminishing reputation..

Childish? Perhaps, but the same could be said about a lot of furry pastimes. It's a childish fandom in terms of interest. Culturally, anthropomorphc animals, the whole reason this subculture exists, are largely seen as something made for children, yet we've taken that and embraced it. Even if something is childish, I see not how it would matter.

Also in the case of Pokemon, there is a lot going on beneath the surface; strategy, breeding for moves, balancing your team... Although Monster Rancher is still more the Thinking Man's monster series.
