Most of the animals that are very intelligent are physically weak in comparison. If your survival rests in your brain there's no reason for you body to support more muscle, it instead focuses on supporting the brain. Personally, I would rather be as intelligent as a human than be as strong as an ox. There are not very many species that have combined great intelligence with great strength, because it's more energy efficient to focus on one or the other.

Yeah thats what I meant, thanks =D lol

Being "strong" is over-rated anyways. I mean, look at bears. Sure they're strong, but the smeggers live alone for so long that whenever they meet company they get so over-excited about it they rip people's faces off.

Personally, I like being able to shake someone's hand without their arm coming off.

Well, it would make introductions more interesting and less "oh, how are you? Not that I care, I'm just British and overtly polite."

Bah, introductions themselves are overrated. I prefer to just ignore everyone.

Back to the topic, though, I find it hard to understand the mentality of people like Stalking Cat. Supposedly he's getting these surgeries to be more like his totem, ok, fine. But then, he's also getting a sex change, so I think there's more of an underlying problem there than just "I want to be my totem animal". If he's going the Daemon route, which says the totem animal is the opposite gender of you, it still doesn't make sense because by making himself female he'll just screw up the balance of the daemon's gender being opposite.

So I think there's more of an underlying mental issue with these people.

Yes, he has, and I really think plastic surgeons need to set some boundries. Just because we can do it doesn't mean we should.

I know...its kind of scary...what if he thought one day..."man...why did I do this...I cant turn back"

that would be awful 0_0

^I think he probably could have it reversed but it'd cost him (probably less than changing tho)

I'm guessing it would look more 'normal' than it does right now, which - assuming he wants to turn back - would be an imrpoovement. I think he has pretty big balls for doing it myself, if he doesn't give a crap about what others think, no matter how bizzare a shape his face is atm.

If I saw him, just walking past me in the street, I would run away screaming. I can almost guarentee it. I would get his autograph first, though.

I think most furries would do that. I may object to what he's done to himself but he's still a somewhat of a celebrity.

I bet he's a cool guy inperson, cos he's let the wierd to the surface rather than just bottling it up
