Book: Waterways
« on: February 25, 2009, 08:08:51 pm »
Alright, so, Waterways, honestly it's probably my most favoritist book eveh.

I've read 2-3 times now, not sure which, I still haven't gotten the end though, I can't get the book, wewt for parentals.

This story is about a christian otter in high school who bumps into a fox at a community pool. He quickly discovers that Samaki, the fox, is gay, and he is attracted to him. He struggles with it until he finally accepts the fact that he's gay and loves Samaki.

He continues to struggle with keeping the secret from his mom and friends, and it gets really crazy up to the part I've read to. I hope I get to finish it someday soon =D!

Little summary thing by sofawolf: http://www.sofawolf.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=81

Kory was having enough trouble in high school. His girlfriend just dumped him, his poetry made him a target for ridicule, and college applications were looming. The very last thing he needed was to fall in love with another boy.

Waterways is the complete novel from award-winning author Kyell Gold that includes his beloved story "Aquifers". Join Kory as his feelings and faith collide, washing away the life he knew. His brother Nick, friends Samaki and Malaya, and Father Joe are there to help, but it's Kory who has to navigate the thrills and perils of the new waterways that make up his life.

At Stake? Nothing much -- just a chance at true love and happiness. And he still has to graduate from high school...

have read the aquifers story. It's an mazing story, very well written and with an excelent plot so far. Things got a little yiffy on the end (not a problem, imo). A 5 stars story, imho. Buying the book would be a good decision for those who can. =)

yes, there's a paper book comprised of the story waterways, the sequel streams (both available online over yiffstar) and a previously unpublished third part called ocean. It's sold by the seawolf press, as previously mentioned by Eric.
