When I was up at one of my friend's house for her graduation party, everyone there wore some sort of furry accessory. I got the fluffy tail.

I have the best way to hide mines in plain daylight. I will tell them that it was one of these:
which I actually do have and use for film making (it's called a blimp for those of you who don't know). Otherwise, I am trying to keep it on the DL.

Well, the mic goes into the blimp and attaches onto a stick which we call the boom so the mic can pick up really clear audio. So basically, yes. PS, we call the furry covering a "Dead Wombat".

I took some before pics of the material for the tail. I also took some pics of my blimp along with it.

Er. No offense but it's probably not the best idea to hide it if you make one. Like, you don't have to go and show off your amazing tail, but if someone does find it and it's clear that you were keeping it hidden they'll be bound to jump to conclusions.

Also, tail I made for a fursuit I'm taking forever to make. It took forever to make since instead of being made by sewing 2 halves together, both of the halves are made up by separate pieces so that the fur is going in the right direction.

hah yea... I know but well I've explained this over and over agian, I'm none too open about the furry things, if people were to be like, "Hey you're a furry?!" then I'd probably nod.

Besides where do I find blue fur?

Joanns. They don't have much on the website but the store is where you want to go. I had my little excuse to go.  I might as well make a dead wombat with the extra material I received.

If you can buy fur online, Distinctive Fabric's long pile fur is supposed too be really nice and high quality, but to be honest I wouldn't personally know. For my tail I used Hancock Fabric's Bunny Fur, but that only comes in black and white.

Honestly dude, is there ANY need to hide it?
My brother's a non-fur, and he bought one when we went to Hillsville and wears it every day to school. Everyone thinks its funny, and absolutely no one knows any negative stereotypes about furries.
Just sayin'. :)
Meh.

I would say either Home Depot or any super store such as Walmart.

There we go.

I did some looking around, and found the left over tail fabric I had.

I am debating making seperate tails, a two-colour wide tail, or a two-colour long tail (the difference being that the wide tail would be sewn back to back, the long tail from end to end).

Or, if someone wants either a green or blue tail, I can whip one up pretty quick.

I finally made mine. My family has no idea it is a tail. Not even my sister who did the excellent sewing job. It is my first furry accessory so a few mistakes were made but nothing too bad. All materials/ supplies were bought at Joann's.

Errrr, one more question! How can I make my tail curl a bit, as opposed to just hanging from my belt?

A site recommended to use garden wire to make it curled. I found the link (it can explain it in a clear way). Hope this helps!
http://wolfden.critter.net/fursuits/constrctn/tail.htm

(Also, since I hate wearing belts and practically all of my shorts don't have belt loops, I decided to just add a few inches of fabric. Then I simply tuck my tail in and it does a fine job.)
