Anymood Songs
« on: June 12, 2009, 10:36:46 pm »
Well, you know those songs, the ones you listen to only when you're sad, the ones you listen to only when you're happy, the same for angry, confused, lovestruck, or heartbroken, but what about the song you always can listen to no matter what kind of mood you're in. I'm just curious about this because I've realized mine and am wondering if other peoples has them too.

Mine - Separate Ways by Journey, dunno why, just no matter my mood I can flip this on and it always sounds good.

Call me weird, and I definitely am weird, but I've never associated music with emotion.  For a lot of people, that's what makes the music, but it's not that way for me.  I kind of just listen to everything no matter what my mood is.

I admit that there's some things that I usually listen to when I'm drawing or writing.  The Glow Pt. 2 by The Microphones and The Aeroplane over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel are some examples. :3

Well for me it's kind of the other way round. When I listen to The Dresden Dolls I get intense and when I listen to Fotos I get mellow etc.

"The townspeople need you, they've been sad for a while
They march around, faces frown and never seem to smile
And if you feel like helping, we'd appreciate a loooooot
If you get up there and spread some cheer from here to Canterlooooooot!"- Applejack's best line ever. And my favorite song line.

Also, Beezleboss from Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny. What a trippy movie. The soundtrack is amazing, though, haha.
