Furcodes aren't as common now as they used to be, but they are widely used among furries. It's inspired by the
Geek Code, and was originally meant for use in signatures on BBSes and Usenet newsgroups.
There's a wizard to create and decode furcodes
here, and a full article about furcodes by the concept's creator can be found
here. And yes, there are people who can decode furcodes without the wizard, though they're extremely rare anymore
