Why's the rum gone?

It's funny how people never seem to get tired of vampires in popular culture. I've been toying with the idea of writing an antithesis vampire story to Twilight where vampirism is an STD and without the cheap 'romance.'

My mom read Twilight recently.

She said it was the worst piece of literature ever written. Woo!

Funny thing is, there's this huge debate going on between fans of Twilight, and fans of Stephen King. We all know Stephen is a better writer, it's true. That's by fact, but also my opinion. I don't want to get into a huge argument here... but King is a much better writer.

King for the Win!
I have never picked up a Twilight book, nor have I darked the doorstep of a viewing of the movies... and I have no future plans on changing this.

I agree, whoever said that the author of Twilight was better than King was

OUT OF THEIR MIND.

Ah, Twilight, causing controversy for reasons still unknown to me. My honest opinion? Bella is a Mary Sue and Edward is a cardboard cutout, Thesaurus addiction =/= good writing, vampires don't glitter, stalking is not romantic, and there is a fine line between chivalry and sexism that S. Meyer has just crossed. However, if you, for some reason I honestly don't comprehend, enjoy Twilight, I really don't care so long as you don't go crazy and shove it in people's face or hurt people for it, I honestly don't give a s**t.

The series wasnt very entertaining, but it was enough to keep me reading ill say 3/5, and the ending was very disapointing...
The movies are THE SINGLE BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT IVE EVER SEEN. After watching the first one i bleached my eyes, and dried them off with salt and sand paper towels...
Im not even gonna bother and see the second one.

Edit: also i forgot to leave out...there are so many things that are wrong in those books, and i dont mean the typos.

This is my reaction whenever anyone says anything about Twilight. The books are literary tosh, fit for nothing but mulch, and the less said about the films, the better.

So, I decided I'm gonna read the book just so I can actually back up my argument went talking about how it's a sucky book.
I'm dog-earing every page that has grammar errors, unnecessary sentences or paragraphs, or just thinks that make me go "WTF?????".

25 pages in.
10 pages dog-eared.

It's not looking good in favor of Twilight.

I was dragged along with my little sister and her friends to go WAIT IN LINE for the new one. My mom wouldn't let them go wait alone, and she certainly wasn't going to let me stay home alone for 3 HOURS. So, I had to go wait in a cold parking lot with tons of teenage girls for this. It wouldn't have been so bad if  actually got to see the movie, not because I wanted to, but when you wait in line for 3 hours, and your mom embarasses you by getting mad a t a security gaurd for taking pictures of the line because the theater doesn't have cameras behind the building, you want to see what you just stood in line for. And I didn't even get to read the Lovecraft book I brought with me.

Enjoy.

Hah! I was just reading that a while ago and thinking about posting it :3

But seriously, I've seen the movie, and It's one of the worst movies I've literally, ever watched. Heck, I can't see how I'd like it even if I was a girl; there is just too much wrong with it = /

I was invited on a movie trip with my class to watch it for the first time, and after about 30 minutes i just left the room (which was crowded with girls in pajamas talking about the edward d00d) and went outside :3

(note, the only reason i went to go see it is because I'd never read, and or seen anything about Twilight, and the name sounded like it would be a decent retreat from my house. Plus there was candy...)

I'm fine with vampires having moral issues with not wanting to kill humans, but being 'vegetarian'?! *sniggers* Lame

I'm also vomited when they used a muse song in the film - how DARE they use such an awsome band in such a crappy film

Book was...cute. That's it. I don't think it was amazing, I don't think it was horrible. It was an okay book. The rampant twilight haters seem way more obnxious then the Twilight lovers over here. :\

Movies were not well directed at all! Everyone acts so awkward in the movie. AND BELLA NEEDS TO STOP BLINKING. I mean, ahem, whoever plays Bella is normally a good actress, I don't know what happened there. Edward wasn't exactly what I imagined though. Where's his nose? :C
