2012 (Movie)
« on: November 14, 2009, 10:08:39 pm »
Well, I just got back from seeing it. And, I must say, I'm extremely impressed.

The total time of the film is around 2 1/2 hours. I honestly don't mind the length. The whole beginning was used for really good characterization. That's what makes it so intense towards the end. You actually care about the characters. As for the plot, it followed your typical disaster movie, but, there was some good humor thrown in. I'm not going to spoil anything. My heart was also racing during the more intense scenes.

As for the special effect, they BLEW MY MIND. They really put a ton of effort into them.

So, I'm giving this a 5/5. Go see 2012. Now.

I don't wanna go see it because I know I'll be paranoid that that's going to actually happen D:
It does look pretty good, though.

I got that feeling too. But, it makes you think.

For some reason, after seeing it, I feel way more appreciative of what I have.

Still, Spaz, go see it. It's worth it.

I'm 99.99% sure the word doesn't have an expiration date.
I definitely want to go see this, I just haven't had the chance. Also, the graphics look great!

It's in 2-D. Honestly, 3-D would have ruined it. It would make the movie seem more childish.

This movie looks so dumb. It was obviously created by someone who hates his life and put his vision of the world in a movie. If any one is buying this "end of the world" crap they should wake up and get a life.
And I HATE John Cusacks movies! DX lol
Nick, when are you going to stop being a smartass!

I just got back from 2012 like an hour ago!
The effects were pure awesome. Lots of suspense too.
I really liked the story too, despite it being completely filled with cliches XP

Just got back from sseing it 5/5
Sure the storyline was a bit...generic I guess...but it played out very nicely...not to mention the AWSOME effects.
Oh, and my new favorite move phrase.

HA, I loved that quote. Although, I don't think that's what someone would say when a giant ash cloud is hurtling right at them...

I just got back from it 5/5, the storyline was great but slightly far fetched. The effects were Epic and I have branded it as: "The Most Epic Film Evarr!" haha  What actually made me laugh was where the boat crashed into "MOUNT EVEREST" and it simply reversed away and turned around with minimal damage. It looked like a car that had had a minor collision. XD

I saw the movie with my dad a few weeks ago. It was very interesting and they left an open part for a second movie. But I loved how they graphed all the disaster. After I saw the movie I wrote a song called The World is Falling Down

I loved that movie. The best part of it was, when the earth was collapsing, you could see the people running and sliding around. How on earth did they do that? The graphics were phenomenal, and the storyline was great.

However, I don't believe in that 2012 stuff. It seems silly to me. Also, a lot of the people who go to see it seem to think it's based on strong facts, when in reality it is loosely based on a few facts, like Myan calendars.
