Originally I wanted to be a dragon. But out of curiousity I asked people what kind of animal I reminded of,and mostly got 'tiger' as answer. So I decided to have a dragon and tiger hybrid, and short time after changed the tiger part til tigerdemon (don`t remember why).
I'm confused, oh wait, maybe I'm not.

I can't really think of exactly why I picked mine. I think it my have to with my personality and I guess the scales work for me. I do think of mine though as a step down from being a dragon because of how I see myself as being a step down from the ideal choice. But I guess the species only scratches the surface of the main reason I identify with my fursona. Guess I'm a pretty deep guys when it comes to describing myself.

Well, originally, I was a red fox just because, but I reconsidered for a while, and after a few months of going between red fox, black cat, white cat, dog, and at some point white cat, I finally settled on arctic fox, just because it seems to match me.

Fascination with dragons led me to them.  It first began as day dreaming about being able to transform into a dragon, then it changed from being a dragon who took the guise of a human.  This was before I knew of furries.   I actually don't really know why I was just a dragon, it just was...

You do not choose the fursona species. The fursona species chooses you.

....I have no clue what that means

That is quite true Mr. "Shells in your pocket"  :lol-fox:, In my case it was the Fursona species that chose me, kinda...
Or at least that's how I see it  :fox-:P:. It just kind of attacked me, and so I chose it :D, not wanting to elaborate at the moment X3.

I just really like lions, although cats come as a close second. My fursona was originally a cat.

Well, I was never one to be afraid of insects. I was always the one who picked up the insetc and let it loose if I was in my own house, or anyone elses house if they either looked uncomfortable dong it, or were about to kill it. I also personally see stomping on an insect to be just as bad as giving a small dog a very forceful kick. Finally, insects generally seem to be far more interesting animals to learn about (such as on nature documenteries) than your usual wolves and lions

I've always really liked and appreciated dogs. Great Danes are also one of my favorite breeds because they're so large, which is kind of relatable because I'm a lot taller than all my friends.

I wanted to be a fox because I live foxes, but I also wanted to be more unique at the same time, and conveniently, my favourite foxes are probably among the most uncommon in the fandom. I'm just saying I've really never seen a corsac fox or Darwin's fox before except for the 2 I found on wikifur.

Well, Hieroglyph just started out as a sketch in a science notebook of mine
From then I gradually developed the character into something way different, but the species generally stayed the same

As for Sigil, I was originally drawing concepts for a microraptor fursona, but then they somehow became a crow ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Lastly, for Goldie, I've been known on a site called Animal Jam for 6+ years as "goldcobra." I've met a lot of friends on that site, and I'm still known in some corners on the internet by that name, so I thought it was time to give myself a cobra sona
