Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam Vs. Zeta Gundam
« on: August 18, 2006, 02:56:30 pm »
Much like its predecessor game Mobile Suit Gundam Federation Vs Zeon. The game play is mainly the same.

New added mobile suits for 3 news sides. The AEUG, The Titans, and Axis.

All in all. At least over 50 different units to pick from. Same units can be used for either side..just the color scheme changes.

New stuff such as TMS or transformable mobile suits either transform by pressing the L2 button twice of jummping into the air and pressing forward forward. Also there is 3 different awakening types. Speed which gives you faster speed. Recover which if your life goes to 0 you gain life back but get a handicap of a broken part and move slower when the awakening gauge goes to zero. Then there is attack. Your attack is double for the pricve of nto beign able to be kncoked down which means in turn you can take double damage as well.

Bunch of new levels to play at. AS well as songs added. Just got to love the extras since you get points for playing versus, arcade mode or survival or plain story mode. And in extras you can buy stuff as songs, game posters, characters, and mobile suits, and ships and what not.

Another interesting thing is depending on how you beat a mission such as a mission labled as a red dot. You can change the future entirely. Which means you can either make the world a better place to live or make it go in the total opposite direction. The story mode isn't fully complete until after you beat it the complete way to peace with the main character.

Also another added thing is training where you can just train with AI. Don't get points from it..but it helps you to get better.

Overall I would give this game a 8.5 out of ten.

Man I love this game. Double Zeta is a beast in is. And got to respect they attempted the Psyco gundams in it. :D
