I've never had a volcanic disaster, but I have made small mistakes. Like one time I made a birthday cake for my dad I used an oversized cake tin so the cake was really flat :P.

holy crap, i cooked somthing either so poorly or so well, depending on how you look at it that it started moving agian.

i was on a boyscout camping trip, twas a cold saturday morn, and we had decided to make french toast.

now i dont know if any of yall have ever had any boyscout french toast so ill tell you what it is; bread and eggs cooked until they look like their edible.

i was on cooking duty, easy job lots of fun, and that was the day the bromlett, was born.

we hade cracked like six eggs and mixed them with a bit of milk (decided to get fancy because no one was drinking it but me), and after cooking most of the slices of bread my friend evan, came up and started talking to me. this was ofcourse a mistake due to the last slice of bread i had soaking in the eggs. once we had chased him off i care fully removed the slice with the aid of my su-chef, and placed it on the grittle for two seconds. we tried to flip it over, it didn't cooperate and fell off, my su-chef cought it with a paper plate, more bad idea, as it then fell on the dirty wooden floor.
deciding that we hadn't ought to waste it i picked it up and up it back on the grittle for around twelve seconds, while we brewed a plan to feed it to evan.
once warm the newly concived bromlet was picked up and placed on the paper plate. there it attempted to escape agian, but was contained untill evan could get there. we handed him a fork and said dig in.

"the hell is this?" he asked, "did you even cook it? it-its looking at me." and indeed it was.

we laughed and assured him that it would be fine, he grugeingly agreed to try it. upon the bit of bromlett he allowed inhis mouth actually biting his toungue, he spit it back out screamed and running with the now angery living food like substance, over to the fire where it was dumped in. the su-chef and i were dying of laughter of course, and evan was trying to uneat that part of the bromlett he had tried. the bromlett attempted to escape th fire, and hissed at the boys using a stick to push it back in.

to this day we live in fear of the bromletts return because the next day we checked the place where the fire had burned dorn and saw the trail of bromlett slime leading off into the woods.

and so you now have herd the tale of the bromlett.

Well, a few people on here might remember this, but one night I decided I would try to make macaroni and cheese, and I put basil in the cheese sauce to see how it would taste......oh my God, never again. =;_;=

AHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I certainly remember, and I'll never let you live it down!

Awesome epic win :D

Oh... my... god...
That was the most phenomenally awesome failure I believe that I have ever witnessed (heard over a headset) ever.

Uhh... I lit the stove on fire by spilling cheesesteak grease over the side of the pan into the flames, does that count?
I don't ever want to feel, like I did that day...

The first time I cook anything other than toast, I tried to make a plain cake. Everything went well (supposedly), It went in the oven and it came out. It looked exactly the way I thought it would. It literally looked like a dream cake showed in commercials. The problem? The insides weren't even warm. When we cut it, all the batter on the inside drizzled out as if it were a stuffed pastry. I didn't feel comfortable cooking for a couple of years after that. Now, though, I'd like to consider myself quite adept.

Valentines day eve I think, It was 12:00 midnight and I was tired and frosting cookies. So I got some left over spagetti and what I thought was pasta sauce (which later my mom told me was 2 week old pizza sauce) and nuked it. BLAAHH!  :puker: it tasted like nail polish remover and I was starving.  :(

Well before I had proper knife skills, I managed to get a bread knife going at a pretty good clip.  I learned that a bread knife when moving fast enough in a sawing motion can cut through your flesh VERY quickly.  Cleaning myself up saw to it that the chicken I had in the oven, burnt to a crisp.

I left the wrapper on a bag of popcorn before nuking it. Microwave smelled like burnt popcorn for two weeks.

Other then that, nothing. I'm not good at cooking but I manage.
