Grilled cheese....
Now, the sandwhich was not the bad part, it was the fact that I didn't realize there was other stuff on the stovetop, one thing being plactic...
Well, we all know heat rises and plastic can melt... so, yeah...

Probably the worst would be when I didn't use oil to cook my eggs. As a result it often looked black on the bottom and I couldn't pull it out, had to scrape the entire thing.

I tried to make hard boiled eggs, but I quickly learned that if you put eggs in a microwave, the eggs will explode.

LOL. Oh, Hallow.

There was one time me and my mum were making pumpkin cake, but we forgot to put the pumpkin in. It tasted like sawdust.
It was quite a hot mess.

Anything involving eggs and stovetops. They always turn out greasy (Yes, greasy, not uncooked) and pretty disgusting. I have no idea wtf I'm doing wrong D:

I've done very little cooking, so there isn't much to screw up.  However, one time I decided I wanted real melted butter on my popcorn.  And, being the lazy girl I am, I decided to save a dish and just microwave the big bowl I was going to put the popcorn in.  Didn't realize the bowl was cheap crap and not microwave-safe.  Didn't notice the bowl had melted until it had nearly become one with the spinning glass plate at the bottom of the microwave.

The sad part is that this happened a lot more recently than I'd care to admit, like in the last 2-3 years.

Ok, this was not my cooking, but while camping, someone who was 'the greatest chef among us', had to cook...
Let's just say they set an internal temperature for meat for a reason... :puker:

I once tried to microwave Chips Ahoy's.  I didn't think the metallic wrapper would cause any problems...

Well, a few people on here might remember this, but one night I decided I would try to make macaroni and cheese, and I put basil in the cheese sauce to see how it would taste......oh my God, never again. =;_;=

Recomendation: When cooking a veggie pack (vegetables and butter wrapped in aluminum foil, stuck in the embers of a fire) make sure that no onw throws certain materials (shoes, plastic bottles, aerosol cans, etc...) in the fire... it leaves a wicked nasty taste on the food...

one time, I accidentally put a potato chip in blue cheese, not ranch. I couldn't get the taste out for an hour. I have never gotten a fried egg to not break in my entire life. not one. On the other hand, the secret to microwaving scrambled eggs from the liquid mix is putting it on for 1 or 2 minutes and stirring it between each, until you get the right viscosity/texture.

Me and my sister did this once, minus the wrapper. The chocolate chips melted all over the microwave D:
and then we microwaved Twizzlers and they got melted onto the tray o-o' It took forever to get it off.

I can't cook, but I like baking! :)
Anyways, when I was little, my mom had brought home some leftovers from Sonics, which was wrapped in foil. I stuck it in the microwave and it start making this terrible ugly sound. I ran away screaming and crying thinking it would explode.

Then days later my brother put a pot in the microwave and a spark had partially melted a small spot on the screen.
