How To Train Your Dragon
« on: May 02, 2010, 11:45:36 am »
I'm really surprised there isn't already a review for this. Anyway:

Animation: 9 (Very high quality, well done!)
Actors: 8 (Played their parts very well.)
Story: 9.5 (Quite good, even though it was based off a different book.)
Humor: 10 (It's a lot more true to what might actually happen to a normal person.)

Overall I give this one a 9, at least.

Vary good movie! I was honestly thinking the story was going to be dull, But it was rich and filled with life. In all, Its my favorite Dreamworks move And one of my top 3 movies I have ever seen.

It was a good movie not great but good. The dragons looked good and so did the people. I like how it showed some viking people and the effects were good. This is a good one time movie  and that's it.  The Jokes and humor was okay. Over all its a good movie. I would give it a 4/5

Easily the best Dreamworks animation movie (except for perhaps Antz - both of those movies were at least 2 cuts above thier other movies)

It was an amazing movie, and looked glorious in 3D, it felt like you were actually flying, it was funny, cute, and intense >8c

I loved the more dramatic things between hiccup and his father but it all seemed pretty similar to every other children's movie coming out then... each one seemed to have the idea of "be who you are" and well IDK  it just irked me that they decided to post them all at the same time.

Though this movie is one of my favorites, I loved the stunning music and characters acting :3. I just didn't like the timing of when it came out...

I thought I was going to hate it since I read the book and I could tell the movie was going to be completely different but I love it so much, the soundtrack really gets to me.
