Alpha and omega

I saw a preview in the theaters for this, and I was like
"OMG I Have to go with my girlfriend and see this!", as we both love wolves. It looks fun. The story isn't that new (from trailers mind you), but it does refresh it, so that looks good. I want to know what you guys think of this new movie!

It looks, as I've said before, appealing at least. I may actually have the opportunity to see it before it officially comes out in theaters, so I'll let you all know on that.

(The reason for this is that a friend of my dad's is a person who works with the final details of getting movies ready for the public. We saw Night at the Museum 2, Coraline, and POTC 3 this way.)

It seems pretty cool, I like it how family movies always tend to slip in discreet adult humor. I might go see it if there's nothing else!

I'm sure this movie will spawn a ton of fan artwork :D

I don't know about this one...  I'm pretty skeptical about it.  I'm expecting incredibly cheesy moments and a predictable plot.  I'll wait for the DVD if I'm going to watch it at all.  I just don't trust childrens movies like this.

I haven't watched any of the clips, but the movie posters look like a good measure of the type of humor that's in it. The final verdict for me came from this, though: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3450372864/tt1213012

Talking duck? Good. That pun? Awful. That's like, the one duck pun even I refuse to use. Maybe once some more comes to light I'll change my mind, but for now I don't think I'm going to get excited.

Aaaand this is why I'm probably not going to bother seeing this (Well, that and the trailers didn't make it look so great either.), at least not until I hear some really good reviews for it.
Granted, the characters are really adorable looking >>;;

I'll probably ait until it comes out on DVD.
It looks good, but:
a) I do not have the kind of money to run to a theatre for every movie that comes out
b) By the time it comes out on DVD, there will be full reviews of it, which can set the basis for whether it is good or not.

The movie is extremely predictable.  The story is okay and the humor wasn't to bad.

Just saw it tonight, and I really enjoyed it!  Sure, it's not a cinematic masterpiece, but it wasn't trying to be, it's just a fun, escapist romp with some cute wolves and emotional moments.

Although, I will say some of the characters were obnoxious at times, particular the male lead (Humphrey).  I'm not sure how much of it had to do with the fact that I dislike Justin Long, same reason I disliked Hiccup in How to Train Your Dragon (I can't stand Jay Baruchel, and neither he nor Justin Long are particularly good voice actors).  The adorable little sister, Lily, made up for this, I practically squee'd every time she was on screen, and I was much more interested in her story than in either of the main characters :-P

But, overall, it was an enjoyable movie, and quite cute :-)

I watched the movie with my little sister on Saturday, which begs the question as to why I'm reviewing several days after, regardless I remember it clear enough. It was enjoyable, not the best built movie, but cute. For the most part I liked most of the characters, even the more minor characters that had little screen time. They had distinct personalities for the most part, and the way the characters interacted was cute. The 3D wasn't entirely necessary though, not sure if there was a non-3D version, nothing really popped out though and it was just there. The jokes and funny moments were sometimes poorly done, but I still laughed and smiled whenever they occurred. Although it wasn't really anything beyond an annoyance for me, parts such as those involving the female lead's mother were a bit too much for a children's movie, threatening that she'd "rip someones eyes out, shove them down their throat so that they would see her disemboweling them," also there were just irritating things at times. It wasn't a bland movie though and stuff was always happening, sometimes a bit too quickly though. The story of the movie was good enough, the plot wasn't too bad and the ending made me feel happy inside.

I'd say overall it was a good movie, it's a nice family movie, nothing that would scare little kids, and it has cute fluffy animals that talk in it. It had some romance, and a sense of adventure for a children's movie, and it appealed to me, It'll probably appeal to most people who like these kind of movies. I rather would've seen something else had I the choice, but I did enjoy the movie and in no way do I regret watching it.

I'll go see it, it can't be nearly as bad as The Last Airbender. God that movie was a waste of my life.
