First memory?
I remember a blinding light in my face, and a man with a white coat on was pulling me out of a really cramped space.
Then once I was free he turned me around and spanked me once, then I cried.  The rest is history.

But in all actuality,
I remember my older brother chasing me around the dinner table when i was young (3-4 maybe?)  He was seven years ahead of me so I ran under the ends of the table, and he ran outside just beside the table chasing me, my mother actually has a video tape of it.

I'm not actually sure, to be honest. It may be when I was around two - I lived in a different house within the same town (Greater Manchester), and I remember... well, the layout sorta. A flat, with a little computer by the door, a bed nearby it also, and I believe it was the front room, so... all the things you'd expect. My mum has said it a few times that she believes I was talking to ghosts - it was rumoured the house was actually haunted or something like that, and... yeah, a little kid having proper conversations with themself? I apparently -never- cried or seemed upset, and what was the most odd part was, we were getting robbed, and my dad actually got threatened by knifepoint, but... I didn't cry despite the noise or anything. I remember -a- robbery happening, but thee details are a little fuzzy, and this is pretty much my mothers' account of the situation, though some of my memories mesh into it a little.

I'd put it off a little too, because generally, my memories are fuzzy, unorganised, and I can't seem to put a finger on -when- these things happened.

My first memory is when we were looking for a house to buy. I was about 3 at the time. Then a little while later I remember when we moved in.

All my early memories tend to be bad ones, now I think about it :|
This is true for most people I've spoken to, wonder why?
The is usually because Bad memories have a bigger influence on our psyche than good or pleasant ones.

I have 3 memories, of which I don't know whats first.
One is being up at Cape cod, on Vacation (where I am now) when I'm 2 or 3, and were in Dennisport, which is only about 5 miles away from where I am. My uncle, who was about 16 at the time had just gotten a laptop, and Command and conquer 1. He let me play it a bit, because he wanted to see what I could do, and I have loved the series ever since.

Another one is when we lived in Pennsylvania around the same time. My mom took me to a swimming pool, and carried me into the deep end. I was pretty scared. then we went home, they gave me a Popsicle and we watched TV. (I don't know what)

The third is probably obvious. we were at my Grandparent's NJ house, and it was night. my parents were in the other room, and I was in bed. I was scared of the dark, so I went over to the foot of the bed, climbed onto it, and promptly fell off, arm extended trying to reach the light switch. my arm bent the wrong way, and I broke it. My parents heard it, and me screaming immediately, and took me to the hospital. I don't remember much, but my parents said when we walked in, I said "I need a Band-aid."

Not all bad, but 1/3. They were all around the same time. If I had to guess the order, Id say it be Pennsylvania, Dennisport, Grandparent's house.

Earliest thing I can remember is probably running head-first into a glass table at age 3. We still have that table...and I still have a faint scar.  -_-

First memory eh?

I think I was either three or four. I was running around in my grandma's garden with her pet Golden Retriever. That's all I remember unfortunately.

I remember walking down a hallway in my first house, looking to my right, and puking everywhere. I must have been about 2, maybe.

True story bro.

I might have had other ones before that, but that's the only one I can think of right now.

Ah scratch my last one, I know this may seem fake, but I think I remember my parents carrying me into the house for the first time. I remember a foil balloon floating, as we climed up the front steps.

I know it sounds strange but i was wondering what it would be like if your first memory actually developed in the womb. Now that would be somthing special. Like hearing music for the first time or somthing like that. I wonder what the first song i ever heard was?

My first significant and very clear memory would have to be my first day of preschool/daycare.  I was like 2 or 3, Mom dropped me off that morning and I flipped out and ran after her down the hall and wouldn't let go of her.  When she finally got me back into the room (I made her late for work) I just sat on the floor crying my eyes out for I don't know how long.  So yeah, first significant memory I can actually place on a time line, the others, well, they could be before or after that, but I'm not 100% sure.

When I was two, I had to get stitches in my lip after falling down and busting it on the corner of a cabinet.

Besides being the story of my first memory, this is also the story of my first scar!

A close second would be the time I busted open my chin on the corner of a table when I was three; I was apparently not a cautious child.

I bet I have the furriest one!
My first memory is eating dog food. No, really!
My mom says that she left drawers open and I climbed up them to the kitchen counter, where dad had left a bag of dog food open and  spilling onto the counter. She found me after a 2-hour search and half the food was gone.
