Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy - Television, The Drug of the Nation

Haven't got a link right now, but it has very strong lyrics, and a deliberately oxymoronic video.

Not overly moving or anything, but it's just a nice little video -

"Everyday" By Carly Comando

It remind me of the past, and makes me hopeful for the future.
It's a very soothing song.

I'm gonna bomb this thread with Flyleaf just once,
a) because I can
b) because I'm growing a bit more obsessed with them since buying that CD Saturday and listening to it over and over
and
c) because these songs are legit.

Of course, there are all of the band's constant subtle(or not?) Christian messages, but I ignore them and use potential, acceptable alternate interpretations of the song meanings.
So I Thought
I'm Sorry <-- This especially for it's lyrics, and what I believe they might imply.
Circle <-- This one's actually from the second album. The user who posted it has added the ending sounds of Set Apart This Dream for their credit roll, it's not usually in there.

[EDIT:] Forgot Swept Away, which is a very angry, anti-hypocrisy kind of song (to me, at least).

Yeha, I only found out the name recently.
I'm probably going to try to learn that.

Dance of Fate by Epica.  It's really powerful to me because it was ringing through my head when my grandfather died.  Every time I hear it I always think of him.  It is a song that I will always remember.
“In this land we’re defended from all things dark and cruel.
Now we’re defenseless in a land where dragon rule!”

Wow how did I not see this before?

First of all, any of these songs. Turn out all the lights, close your eyes and actually listen to my second song especially (If you decide to listen to listen them). I'll post first, then later I'll post the story about the artist.

First of all Requiem for a Dream by Clint Mansell. The song just conveys such passion and struggle through each note, yet at the same time there's a feeling of defeat and sadness that surges through me with each rhythm, it instills this feeling...no, yearning to do better at everything. To live better, to be better in school, to literally break myself in order to complete my dreams.

Secondly, this is the song that is only fully experienced in the full dark, with open ears and mind.  It's called Adagio For Strings by Samuel Barber. I can't give any intro or info to this one...just listen....and listen correctly.

Dissapear by Dream Theater. It's a song about the singer's mother dying, and I still find emotional even though I cannot relate to it whatsoever, since no one close to me has ever died yet

Pretty much anything on Buckethead's Colma and Electric tears album

Opeth stuff on the whole. Still life conveyed all sorts of emotion - sadness, anger, the list goes on

Clannad - Theme From Harry's Game

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KpNzalFKPo

This song always amazed me, despite it's short length. I don't get the lyrics (I actually speak Irish, which is ironic), and half the lyrics are gibberish, but the melody always gets to me. I feel nearly euphoric listening to this.
It's really strange that a band that initially started doing traditional Irish music later moved on to ambient/ambient techno, and they're mostly remembered for that.

Since I'm a bit of an audiophile theres quite a few songs out there that emotionally affect me. These are some of the most prominent of them (in order of greatest effect for me):

Just a few I think are good IMHO
