Defininetely ''Say Something'' by Great Big World, ''The Rhyme'' by Scratch21, certain songs from Hollywood Undead like ''Circles'' or ''Rain'' and most of Of Monsters And Men's songs from second album.

Songs with emotions put into them are usually the best ones~

Get a better mirror
Look a little closer, Stare a little longer
Because there’s something inside you, that made you keep trying despite everyone who told you to quit''

This, for me anyway, is only a powerful song because it was in a montage/compilation/tribute video for Paul Walkers death, so now whenever I hear it, it makes me sad.....

"Time" by Pink Floyd. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwYX52BP2Sk
It's a really good song for when you're feeling sad and you need some song to sympathize with you.

Not to mention that it's really trippy.

Also maybe "A Day in the Life" by The Beatles. It's pretty deep. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usNsCeOV4GM

And also pretty trippy.

This and this.
I love those much. The instruments and vocals sound amazing... something about soundtrack like this seems to touch my soul in a way every time I listen to them.

Amy Winehouse- Every song on Back To Black, I believe an american journalist said "when this lady sings about love, she means every word". Shame she is no longer with us- a great loss to music.

The Manic Street Preachers- very powerful lyrics about difficult issues, 'Suicide Is Painless' for example 'Motorcycle Emptiness' conveys materialism, consumerism and capitalism. They are no longer going either

Elbow- need I say more about Elbow- poetry
