Indian Summer - Brooks & Dunn

The band takes some slight stereotypes/cliches and makes them hit home with their sound and vocals.
This song almost makes me cry every time I listen to it.
Meh.

Remember that time with that thing when it ran to that place that was in that city and then exploded.  There was also that time when the other guy with that birth mark who killed that one but the other day when that thing happened to that person.

do you remember?

The old version of Make Up by Escape the Fate
Well technically it was just Ronnie Radke. Because if I remember correctly he said in a recent interview that it was recorded before Escape the Fate.

It's such a sad song, and the lyrics are pretty deep.
All of the lyric videos have part of the lyrics wrong though.

Oh there are a lot of very happy/sad songs that I have heard. V..V  Songs really do help when you're hurt though.

Adele:  Make You Feel My Love
Celine Dion:  Because You Loved Me and many more of hers
Josh Groban:  Just everything he rights, which I think someone else said that on this thread, and they are completely right.
Christina Aguilera: You Lost Me
Colbie Caillat:  Fearless, Breakin' at the Cracks
Evanescence: Hello
Susan Boyle: Wild Horses, I Dreamed a Dream
Whitney Houston:  I Will Always Love You
Lonestar: I'm Already There
Rascal Flatts: My Wish

There are some of the most touching songs I have ever listened to.
Remember that smile, the one you wore with such beauty and grace?  Where has it gone?  What has happened to put you in this miserable, lonely place?  Smile for me, even it may be the last time I see.  A picture I will take not for myself, no. A picture for the entire world to embrace the happiness you once shared with me.  Just smile...

one of my favorite songs at the moment :D
"When you enjoy something, you must never let logic get too much in the way. Like the villains in all the James Bond movies. Whenever Bond breaks into the complex: 'Ah, Mr. Bond, welcome, come in. Let me show you my entire evil plan and then put you in a death machine that doesn't work'."

The song at the end of the Fox and the Hound always makes me cry.  I love that movie so so so much.

Three pieces of music;
The Promise of Living- Aaron Copland's The Tender Land, the song is simply gorgeous.  Copland manages to create something wholly original, not schmaltzy, and truly heart felt.  Simply stunning.

Requiem Movement 7 "Lux Aeterna"- John Rutter's requiem is a beautiful piece of music overall but this movement in particular strikes my very soul.  I'm not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination but that doesn't stop me from actually feeling something during this piece.

Lily's Eyes- From the Secret Garden, the song is incredible and gives me chills every time I hear it, regardless of how well it's performed.  Kind of annoying actually...

Well let's see...I got a lot of country songs on the list lol

All I Can Do Is Write Em In a Song - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Bleed Red - Brooks and Dunn (i like how the video includes footage from the Cold War)
I Won't Let Go - Rascal Flatts (reminds me of the 4/27 tornado outbreak)
Jolene - Zac Brown Band (this thing makes me cry regardless)
Without You - Keith Urban
Diamond Eyes - Shinedown
I Will Always Love You - Dolly Parton (Gotta love Dolly)

i'm pretty sure i missed some. But that about covers it at the time

Edit: oh oh oh and Hurt - Johnny Cash (Johnny is probably one if not the greatest country music star known to mankind, even on his deathbed)

I only came back and saw it on Youtube as they was my favorite band. This has really shocked me, for all the songs that I listen to that are supposed to be "hard hitting" this really is because Rise Against is really influential

(Sadly its on Vevo website because youtube doesn't have the video yet :l)

I can't believe I haven't posted Early Mourning by Alesana here yet. It's a rather sad song, and I can't listen to it without it making me feel a little sad.

McLachlan.

And yes, this is a good song. Although, for me, the song really only has that deep emotional feel to it, when I have seen it used for the ASPCA commercials.

Oh. I find it emotional because it was my grandfather's favorite song, along with The Rose. I tend to look up to him a good bit.
