TellTale games and other heavily story-driven games (like Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain) are always meant to be pretty emotional.

But I don't really think I've ever gotten too emotional playing a game, that I can remember.

Unless you count when they played the ending theme music to Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire & showed you all the Pokémon you've caught & adventured with through the game and... oh the feels.

Depends, in Beyond : Two Souls I didnt have any emotion. Because the gameplay was boring and repetitive, while in Brother in Arms: Hells Highway I almost cried at points because the characters were so fun to play along with. Along with something new around every corner and new gameplay, it kept my attention enough to care about the characters and such.
Just like a burn will linger, she crept between my fingers, and to my body she has now become a new disease. A fog to cloud vision, more like an apparition. She made a mess and now abandoned me.

The most emotional game I have played by far is Hatoful boyfriend. It made me cry so hard it was unbelievable as I had never cried so much playing a video game. Whenever I watch YouTube videos of it or even think about it I start to get all emotional again and feel like I'm going to cry.

First game I've cried for was Persona 3. The death of a certain character hit me hard. The darkness might make you emotional. Though unsettlingly HILARIOUS NIS (company) makes some hard story driven games. With Disgaea 3 I nearly cried in a bus, because of the death of a character....(Though the game trolls you hard right afterwards.) Play thier RPG award winning games, they tend to bs really fun... And can turn you into a no life fora while XD

The Walking Dead by TellTale. I cried when Lee died. I wanted him to carry on with Clementine.

Also Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game storylines, often using the same general plot style. Still manages to pull on heartstrings every time.
Oh god, this was one of the endings that just had me sitting there for a bit, like, did that just happen? I might have to go replay those games at some point.

In Kingdom Hearts 365/2 days: Xion's End. Not only did she die, everyone forgot she ever existed except her best friend and her closest companion. And even they both forgot her. One died and the other gradually forgot after he killed Xion's friend. So sad!

I don't remeber the name of it but when I was little I played a game, I don't remember what it was really about but I had this dog sidekick and then while traveling somewhere I lost him, I don't know if it was mean to happen or if the game glitched or sometching but I never found him again. It was a sad day (I get way too emotional)

When you have to battle Rundas in Metroid Prime 3
He was the only character that was actually nice to Samus and the only character I liked out of the other characters in the game. :sad-fox:

This game is... depressing...  :sad-fox:

But the saddest thing I've ever seen in a video game is probably... in "Papers, Please" when you have to let in your guard friend's long lost lover, but later in that day there's an almost impossible terrorist attack that is really really difficult to deal with and save your guard friend... It just makes me so sad that you reunited this sweet, long-separated couple and later in the day one of them is killed right in front of you because you didn't react quickly enough. Idk, most people would probably argue that since I've had to kill goat mom that's the saddest thing, but that part in Papers Please just makes me feel awful...  :sad-fox:

Yeah, Darkness and Time are sad when you, ya know, cease to exist, but for me, just for the nostalgia of playing it first, I think the ending of the Rescue Team games are the saddest, not only do you die, but you and your partner are resurected by Gengar of all Pokemon, just so that you can be sent back to the Human world. And then there is the fact that Gengar is in the realm of the dead, was that just one of his powers of did he die too? and hes a ghost type pokemon, so maybe he was dead the whole time and only went one to the realm of the dead when he had a reason? and this is a game for kids, Forget Occorina of Time, this is the game that should be rated M just for all the psychological sh*t thats in it!

For me it was seeing Ghost die in CODMOD I was so unhappy. I sort of yelled at the screen for a bit.

Same here. Didn't like that death scene at all. Another one I thought was sad is when Angelus died in drakengard trying to protect the world from destruction.

Persona 4 if you fuck up and get the bad ending.
I won't go into detail but I'm a pretty hard guy and that broke me like a twig.

From legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask. At the beginning you see this little tree thing (a deku?) which has a sad face like it got frozen or something like that, later on in the game you find out that it is the dead son of a butler I think? It's been a while so I dont remember
