I've been playing the older Pokemon games (Gen 1 and 3), due to being too cheap to buy them when they were new. I'm almost done with Red, and halfway done with Emerald. I chose a Bulbasaur, and a Mudkip. (Because when you play Gen 3 games, you must always pick Mudkip).

I love the 3rd gen. It was the first time I ever played pokèmon :fox-:P: I wish they would remake it for the DS in the US. I think the remade it in Japan for DS and its not fair :sad-fox: Mudkip and Torchic forever!

R/S/E hasn't gotten a remake yet, in any country. Gamefreak releasing a Pokemon title for Japan-only is extremely rare considering how big of a franchise it is; a remake even more so, since people have been screaming for a third-gen remake since before B&W came out

The 3rd games were the best... Then it just went downhill from there... Sad days  :sad-fox:

I agree completely, Q~Q I mean, I liked Diamond and Pearl, but after that, it just got worse and worse, the classics are always so great~

Platinum and HGSS were some of the best games in the entire series. Just because DP was terrible doesn't mean all of the newer games are.

On an unrelated note, I've been playing a lot of romhacks lately. My favorites are the ones that are so bad they're good like Snakewood and the Touhoumon games. I wish more people would like them unironically.

By the way, has anyone seen the new Mewtwo form/Mewthree yet? I  It's here if anyone would like to see it. I'm hoping we can catch it under a truck, but that isn't very likely. 'w'

Elikiteru has to be my favorite of gen 6 so far, but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed at the goat one being a ripoff of Sawsbuck.

I like the idea of using Gogoat as a mount, but I'm afraid it'll just be a gimmick. Riding other Pokémon would be great.

I can't wait to play Pokemon on goatercycles.

But in all seriousness, I'm excited for these games. We finally have more options to choose from for our character!  :fox-:):
My favorite of these Pokemon is either Yancham or Gogoat. I need these games now!

So what's you guys' opinions to Nuzlocke adventuring?

I personally like the Nuzlocke Challenge. It puts a new spin on any old Pokémon game and can be challenging for even the most hardcore Pokégamers. It also makes you appreciate the Poémon you catch a lot more, and you can't be that choosy.

I plan on replaying Blue under the challenge, just so I can revisit it and not feel like I'm just doing the same thing over again.

Also, it's funny, I had just gotten into a heated conversation with a couple of friends of mine about this very topic! xD

I brought it up because I just started my first ever one on Soul Silver with a Chikorita.

But the challenge itself can be super fun, challenging, and emotionally trying. My team is solely consisted of Pokemon that I've never trained up before and it's definitely new.

BWWAAARGH

I cannot wait!

It looks so awesome! And I know a lot of people are probably going to pick Fennekin as their starter, but I'll probably begin with Chespin!

And Pokémon-Amie looks like so much fun!

I want this sooo bad!
