Which is why I refuse to use Steam. There's better ways to get games. Good Old Games is one of them.

Not really a program, but the process I have to use to access my work from home is painful.

1.  Open VMware
2.  Login using network token (a keychain thingy with numbers on it), which usually requires digging through my purse for five minutes to figure out where I put the thing.
3.  Login using normal credentials, and start a virtual PC session.
4.  Start a Windows Remote Desktop session within the virtual PC.
5.  Login to a completely different network using completely different credentials.
6.  I now have a virtual PC within a virtual PC within an actual PC, but we're not there yet.  I'm still not on my development server.  This is just to access my work via a web browser and FTP client.  If I want to actually access the server to do anything else, I have to fire up a Linux SSH session and go one more layer inwards.

@Natasha: ... The hell...? Is PuTTY off limits? Or what is the...?

Speaking of which, sh... I find your lack of fai tab complete disturbing.

But I actually showed to gripe a bit about Linux Mint as a whole. I'm running Katya, which is a note behind. Ubuntu and Debian support - to some extent - in-place upgrades to the latest release cycle. Not Mint (which is based on Ubuntu, which is in turn based on Debian). So my system config always has to be offloaded to upgrade... And this time around, it's my system config and my home partition because I keep believing that enough attempts will make Windows play nice with me for some reason and had tried a dual boot setup. That's some 30 GB of files... Grumble Grumble Grumble...

All I can say is that it's primarily a Windows network, common among government bodies, and my working environment is behind several levels of firewalls that don't talk to each other (for practical-ish reasons).  It's a minor miracle that they're telecommuting-friendly at all, given the nature of my office and my work.

I like necroposting in topics just to troll everyone who hates it. :D

iTunes when it freezes up on me while I'm trying to sync shit to my iPod.

Also, any digital art program. Because digital art frustrates me to no fucking end (I may make a thread about this...)
I've left (again), probably for good but idk. If you wanna talk to me outside the forum, feel free to email me. Just tell me who you are in the email pls

iTunes is something I have uninstalled from my laptop due to Apple stupidity.

UPlay with their DRM garbage is now going to be labeled as worse than Orgin or Steam.

Livestream ProCaster is not pro at all and is just a horrible pile of shit.

Adobe Flashplayer is nowadays an annoying and unreliable thing.

If Microsoft Windows could be counted as a program, even though its an OS, that would be the one I choose.

For actual programs though, Steam, because of its annoying update thing at almost every launch.

That is about it on computers though.

For phones, the apps that piss me off the most would be Twitter (not even going to start on that POS), Facebook (worse than Twitter), Snapchat (their app is so badly optimized for Android), and that's basically it I think.

Pre-98 windows was a program. Now the shell is a program. Be angry at it.

Figured I'd be corrected lmao. I don't use Windows unless I have to for my own sanity. After XP, it went downhill fast.
