Ну, погоди!

http://youtube.com/results?search_query=russian+wolf+cartoon&search=Search

A very questionable russian cartoon made through the 80's I beleive. There are 18 episodes, I found 17 of them on www.youtube.com Basically the wolf chases the rabbit but in the episodes, especially the boat / cruise episode there are some questionable prediciments. It's hard to explain but why is the wolf always wearing pink!?! AND! the bunny is a boy, not a female, enjoy!

Here is the info from you tube!

Nu, pogodi! (Russian: Ну, погоди!, English translation: Just you wait!) is an animated cartoon series directed by Vyacheslav Kotyonochkin, produced at the Soyuzmultfilm studio in Moscow, between 1969 and 1986. Additional series were produced in 1993 and 2005.

The plot of the series follows the mischievous and artistic Wolf (Волк, Volk) trying to catch the Hare (Заяц, Zayats), presumably with the intention to eat him.

There are very few spoken lines in the series (the most common is wolf saying "Nu pogodi" (Just you wait) at the hare after he fails yet again), but it features many grunts, laughs and songs. The series' trademark is that at the end each episode (and at the end of the pre-title introduction) the Wolf, having failed his schemes, says: "Nu, zayats, nu pogodi!" (Hare, just you wait!)

Haha, I found this not too long ago, it's funny, but diff language D=
Seven years of age is he and already in bloody war
His eyes do not turn away from all that death and gore
Father Dracul and brother Mircea are riding by his side
Proud he is of his warrior father, no matter he lied!

LOL I love it! It's not too difficult to understand the concept though even with the language barriers.

Yeah it is kind of like Coyote and Roadrunner cartoons... I just love how old the animation is, the oldies rock.

I have Russian typing skillz, which is why I ask, because typing in Russian on an English keyboard is a royal pain in the ass.  I'm slowly working on learning the language :)

Though the thing that makes me wonder about old cartoons like these is why they seem more appealing then most of the crappy cartoons they have been throwing out the last 6 years :/ I probally only enjoyed like 2 or 3 of them at the most.
